[WATCH]- Vinay Kumar Reacts After Dismissing Sohaib Maqsood In WCL 2024 Final

Vinay Kumar exacted revenge by dismissing Sohaib Maqsood during the ongoing World Championship of Legends (WCL) final between India and Pakistan at Edgbaston in Birmingham on Saturday, July 13. Maqsood had struck a six and a four off Kumar in the same over during Pakistan’s fifth over.

However, attempting to replicate his boundary, Maqsood fell to a length ball and was caught by Rahul Shukla between mid-wicket and square leg. Vinay Kumar showed visible satisfaction on his face as Maqsood departed after completing his retaliation.

FanCode shared the video on X with the caption: “THAT Vinay Kumar Expression. When it’s India-Pakistan, the Heat is ALWAYS.”

Pakistan Champions established a target of 157 runs for India Champions in the WCL 2024 final

Shoaib Malik’s composed batting effort propelled Pakistan to a total of 156/6 against India in the 2024 WCL final. Malik contributed 41 runs from 36 balls, including three boundaries. Misbah-ul-Haq added 18 runs from 15 balls before retiring hurt. Meanwhile, Sohail Tanvir remained not out on 19 runs from nine deliveries, ensuring Pakistan crossed the 150-run mark. Anureet Singh was the standout performer with the ball for India, claiming three wickets while conceding 43 runs in his four overs. Vinay Kumar, Pawan Negi, and Irfan Pathan each took one wicket.

As of now, India Champions were 20/0 after 1.5 overs, with Robin Uthappa and Ambati Rayudu batting. Both India and Pakistan secured their spots in the 2024 WCL final by defeating Australia Champions and West Indies Champions by margins of 86 and 20 runs, respectively.
