Shubman Gill said he was happy with his form, and he wanted to carry the momentum after leading the Gujarat Titans to victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Gujarat Titans wrapped up a power-packed seven-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad as they recorded three wins in a row.
Shubman Gill kept his calm and led the chase brilliantly to finish with an unbeaten 63* while Sherfane Rutherford’s late fireworks (28* off 15) extinguished all hopes of a late comeback from SRH. Washington Sundar, too, contributed some valuable runs to GT’s inning.
Set a target of 153, SRH managed to score 152 runs with some late flourish from Pat Cummins that was, however, never good enough to take on GT, who finished chasing it with 22 balls to spare.
Shubman Gill and Mohd. Siraj talk about the GT vs SRH Game:

After the Gujarat Titans triumphed over the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Shubman Gill and Mohammed Siraj were asked about their reflections on the match. Gill was satisfied with his form, putting importance on carrying this momentum into future games. Siraj, on the other hand, felt special playing in front of his family and friends who traveled from far to see him bowl.
“I liked it very much. Had this in my mind that I had to finish it because the target was not massive and wicket was also a bit tricky. I have won three matches consecutively; I just have to maintain this form in the future as well.” Shubman Gill said after GT Beat SRH.
“It feels special when family and friends come to watch the match because they do not travel anywhere else; they only come to Hyderabad, so it always feels good to perform in front of them. Every day I try to learn something new and just enjoy bowling,” Siraj said after GT Beat SRH.
GT defeated SRH by seven wickets, their third consecutive triumph. SRH suffered its fourth consecutive defeat.
