After India’s poor performance with the bat and the ball against the blackcaps, skipper Virat Kohli reflected on the team’s performance and said :

“Quite bizarre. I don’t think we were brave enough with bat or ball. We didn’t have much to defend but we weren’t brave when we walked onto the field. Whenever we looked to take the game on, we lost a wicket. That happens in T20 cricket when some hesitation set in.”

Virat Kohli and his men will next face Mohammad Nabi’s Afghanistan on the 3rd of November (Wednesday) at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium. It’s a must-win game for India, will be interesting to see how the team performs looking at the pressure.
