ICC T20 World Cup 2021: Zomato Trolls Pakistan Cricket Team Ahead Of Mega Clash Against India

The Pakistan Cricket Team will face their arch-rivals India in their first Super 12 game in Dubai. The side has already lost five matches against India in T20 World Cups and chasing their first win still. Meanwhile, Indian online food delivery app Zomato took a dig at the Pakistan team ahead of their marquee clash against Pakistan. Their response was triggered by a Pakistan online food delivery outlet that promised to deliver free burgers and pizzas if the Men in Green beats their Indian neighbors.

The build-up to this India-Pakistan clash is huge with great expectations from the fans of both sides. Zomato in response to Careem Pakistan’s offer said ” Dear @TheRealPCB in case you’re looking for 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫 or 𝐩𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐞 tonight, we’re just a DM away”.

Ex-cricketers from both sides have made their predictions for the mouth-watering clash. While the former Indian cricketers are confident of the Indian team extending their winning run in World Cups, former Pakistan cricketers are expected the result to change.

Pakistan beat India in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy in 2017 to shock the entire nation. However, they are still to win a single World Cup game either 50 or 20-over. They have faced India five times in T20 World Cups losing all five games till date.

Meanwhile, former Indian batsman Aakash Chopra has given critical advice to the Indian team ahead of their match against the arch-rivals.

Chopra further spoke about Babar Azam’s off-side game speaking extensively on his cover drive which is among the best played by the modern batsmen. He also asked the Indian bowlers to bowl incoming deliveries at their skipper.

“So where you need to bowl to him, I will say within the three stumps. He scores fewer runs down the ground. So bowl him in the incoming deliveries within the stumps at the start with the new ball – Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami” he said.
