In keeping with the plan, Watt pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket before beginning his second over of the UAE innings.

He only began bowling his over after putting that piece of paper back in his pocket. The incident’s video is currently trending on social media.

In the eight overs he bowled against UAE, Watt recorded a strike rate of 1 for 22.

Cricket player Mark Robert James Watt was born in Scotland on July 29, 1996. On June 18, 2015, he faced Ireland in his first Twenty20 international match.

On July 31, 2015, against Nepal, he made his List A debut during the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship.

Scotland defeated the UAE by 111 runs in a Group B match, advancing them to the next round.

With the help of Richie Berrington’s captain’s knock, Scotland thrashed the UAE after their thrilling one-wicket victory over Ireland.

Before Chris Sole and Safyaan Sharif used the ball to complete the task, they had reached 282 for eight thanks to his 127.

It included nine fours and three sixes. A standout with the bat was Michael Leask, who scored 41 runs.

“The ability to show up and adjust to the circumstances was crucial today following the victory over Ireland.”

“It is encouraging that we played the ball with such precision and ease”, said Berrington.

Numerous UAE batsmen entered the game, including captain Muhammad Waseem (36), but none were able to convert early runs into significant totals due to the frequent wicket-taking.
