If there’s one thing we just love about Imran Tahir then it just has to be his iconic running celebration. Over the year’s we’ve seen Imran Tahir celebrating running all around the ground after a taking a wicket every single time. This count would go on for multiple times in a single match but Tahir never seems to get tired.

Which is why in this year’s IPL with Imran Tahir not playing a single game we’ve seem to have missed his celebration to a certain extent. With the choice of team combination, Chennai Super Kings played in this year’s not so successful campaign we couldn’t see an experienced player like Imran Tahir feature in the side.

I ran out of the ground during a club cricket game in England – Imran Tahir

Recently Imran Tahir revealed an incident where he ran out of the ground celebrating as we all are aware how Imran just takes off after picking a wicket. He revealed that during a club cricket match in England he ran out of the ground as he got lost in his celebration which left people in splits.

“I call it pure passion. I don’t know where it comes from. In club cricket in England, 15 years ago, after a wicket and a brilliant catch, I ran out of the ground, on the bank, to the road. I had to walk back. People were laughing, I didn’t know. It was funny, but that’s how I’ve been. I don’t know how people see it. There’s no celebration plan. Every wicket is important,” Imran Tahir stated.

Imran Tahir also made it clear that he doesn’t intend to retire anytime soon and wants to continue playing the sport as long as he can since cricket source of income for his family.

“Why not? I’ve only got this one chance. I got into cricket to earn for my family and me. I have to cash in as much as I can. If I work hard, why not? As long as I can go. I want to be proud of myself. Oldest cricketer in the world,” the veteran added.
