With the T20I series done and dusted, India will lock horns with England in a three-match ODI series, which gets underway on July 12 (Tuesday). The Men in Blue will look to continue the same template they used in the shortest format to trump the reigning ODI champions in their own turf.
Rohit Sharma and Co. played an aggressive brand of cricket right from the start that helped them win the first two T20Is. The management are likely to continue with the same as they also look to plan for the ICC ODI World Cup next year at home. All the big guns will be back in the squad and India will look to keep the winning momentum going.
England, on the other hand, will play their first ODI series under new captain Jos Buttler. With plenty of the talented cricketers on their roaster, the hosts will look to thrive on their confidence after the win in the last T20I.
On that note, let’s take a look at the all the details ahead of the three-match ODI series.
