The 2025 Women’s ODIs World Cup is undoubtedly one of the most awaited events set to start on September 30, and the 2025 Women’s ODIs World Cup will provide an eight-team competition. After one of the recent agreements of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Pakistan will play all their matches in Colombo, Sri Lanka, which is their neutral ground. This case has arrived following the recent period of last month when the two archrivals went into a full-scale war, and that brings in an extra dimension of intensity to their imminent encounter.
The tournament fixtures are amazing and will start as the hosts, India, play Sri Lanka in Bengaluru on September 30, and Australia plays defending champions New Zealand on October 1 in Indore. The matches will be played in five cities in India—Bengaluru, Guwahati, Visakhapatnam, and Indore and Sri Lanka, Colombo.

The much-anticipated game of the series will probably be India versus Pakistan, and that game is going to take place in Colombo on October 5. Led by Captain Harmanpreet Kaur, the Indian team will be focusing on garnering a statement against the archrivals. The rivalry between the two teams has been very tough and hence I think it will be a very exciting match that will make fans at the edge of their seats.
The Indian team will be busy and will play against Sri Lanka, Pakistan, South Africa, Australia, England, New Zealand, and Bangladesh. Also, most probably they will play vs Sri Lanka on the 30th of September in Bengaluru, vs Pakistan on the 5th of October in Colombo, vs South Africa on the 9th of October in Vizag, vs Australia on the 12th of October in Vizag, vs England on the 19th of October in Indore, vs New Zealand on the 23rd of October in Guwahati, and vs Bangladesh on the 26th of October in Bengaluru.
It will be followed by two semifinals, which are to be played by October 29 and October 30, followed by the finale on November 2. The first semifinal game of the World Cup may happen in either Guwahati or Colombo, depending on the qualification of Pakistan, and the second semifinal will take place in Bengaluru. The final match will be held in one of the cities, Bengaluru or Colombo, and this will make an exciting finish to the tournament.
