It was yet another day of domination for the Indian team as the Islanders collapsed in their 2nd innings courtesy some hostile bowling from lanky Ishant Sharma and accurate spin bowling from Ashwin.
In the process, Indian team led by captain Kohli completed their 31st international win in this calendar year, their innings and 239 runs victory over Sri-lanka in this game as India”s biggest win in test cricket.
Ravi Ashwin also achieved another milestone, becoming the fastest bowler to get 300 wickets in test cricket eclipsing the great Dennis Lillee.
