West Indies 311 in 101.4 overs ( Roston Chase 106, Holder 52, Hope 36, Umesh Yadav 6/88) and 127 in 46.1 overs ( Sunil Ambris 38, Shai Hope 28, Umesh Yadav 4/45, Ravindra Jadeja 3/12) by 10 wickets.

West Indies captain Jason Holder said: Disappointed with the way our batting line up performed in the 2nd innings. Credit to India how they played their cricket. The pace bowlers got wickets but could have gone with an extra pacer.

Indian captain Virat Kohli said: To get a lead of 50-60 runs was a bonus for us. Umesh Yadav bowling in this match was outstanding. We have a headache to choose from a lot of bowlers. The first innings was the bit more challenging than in the first test match. Rahane wanted runs under his belt.

Man of the match Umesh Yadav said: I want to thank my teammates to give all the support. With only fast bowler in the team after Shardul Thakur broke down, tried my best to pick another five-wicket haul. We are enjoying each other company.

Man of the series Shaw said: a Happy moment for me to finish the game for India. My first international series and winning it 2-0 was a proud moment for me. It is always healthy competition in the team. Everyone is like a family and wanted to enjoy the moment.

The ODI series between these two teams begins on 21st October.
