In a depressing news for SRH fans, yet another Australian fast bowler has been injured and ruled out of the IPL 2018.

Sunrisers Hyderabad fast bowler Billy Stanlake has been ruled out from the rest of this edition of Indian Premier League season due to a fracture in the finger.

Physio has advised Stanlake to take rest and get the complete medical attention for his injury. Billy got this fracture during the last game against Chennai super kings while fielding.

This injury would hamper the SRH chances in the further matches of this tournament as the big quick was the main weapon of their fast bowling armoury.

“Stanlake sustained a displaced fracture on his right-hand fifth finger whilst fielding and surgical reduction and fixation was required to restore function to that finger,” the franchise stated in a media release.

The pacer who was bought by Sunrisers for his base price of Rs 50 lakh in the 2018 players” auction will now no longer be available for selection for the rest of the tourney.

Sunrisers who are currently fourth in the IPL points table with three wins in five games will now look to win against the Mumbai Indians on Today at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

The Australian fast bowler has flown back to his country for further treatment.
