IPL 2018: Here is the Twitter verdict on this years IPL opening ceremony

IPL enters into the second decade as the chairman Rajiv Shukla declared it open at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

The opening ceremony started with a bang as Bollywood stars set the stage on fire. The audience was left enthralled by the dance performances and it was a “one-time” experience for them.

It all started with Rohit Sharma, the captain of defending champions Mumbai Indians, placing the trophy on the bias for which the eight teams will be contesting in the next 51 days.

Then started the dance performances from stars Varun Dhawan and Indian “MJ” Prabhudeva. The crowd who gathered to witness the opening match between MI and CSK termed this performance as a “prolific” one as they danced to some southern numbers too.

Performances from Jacqueline Fernandes and Tamanna Bhatia made the audience go crazy.

Hrithik Roshan”s performance has been the talk of the town. The 44-year-old exhibited his skills on the dial as he made sure to give a “visual treat” to the people with his extraordinary stamina.

Mika Singh, with his live performance, also sang few Bollywood songs to put curtains on the opening ceremony.
