Rajasthan Royals won their 7th match against Delhi Daredevils in IPL history.

Rajasthan Royals 153 for 5 in 17.5 overs ( Rahane 45, Sanju Samson 37, Jos Buttler 29, S Nadeem 2/34) beat

Delhi Daredevils 60 for 4 in 6 overs ( R Pant 20, Chris Morris 17*, Ben Laughlin 2/20) by 10 runs via D/L method.

Rajasthan Royals captain Rahane said: We thought 71 was difficult to chase. When we were batting we thought 165 or 170 would have been good. It was a great match and nice way to start well at home.

DD captain Gambhir said: It was a beautiful wicket to bat on. We had a good chance if we had restricted Rajasthan to 170. Chasing 71 runs in 6 overs was difficult and had to go from ball 1.

Man of the match Sanju Samson said: It feels amazing to start on a winning note at our home ground. We had four team camps and made sure that we posted a decent total.

In today’s match, Sunrisers Hyderabad takes on Mumbai Indians at Hyderabad.
