2. Ravichandran Ashwin (KXIP to DC)
R Ashwin led Kings XI Punjab in two IPL seasons before KXIP traded him for Jagdeeshan Suchit ahead of IPL 2020. Though he was a failure as captain, his experience was of much need in the IPL. Ashwin picked up 25 wickets in 28 games while leading the franchise.
He was a great value addition to the team for DC. He picked up 13 wickets from as many matches and produced some key spells for his team. Delhi lost veteran spinner Amit Mishra due to injury and Ashwin has filled his boots to perfection. Even in the first qualifier which Delhi lost, Ashwin picked up three wickets for just 29 runs.
