Yesterday, AB de Villiers once again exhibited why he is still one of the best batsmen in the world. The batting genius was at his very best against KKR at the iconic Sharjah cricket stadium in IPL 2020. De Villiers came out to bat with the match nicely poised on a pitch that wasn’t tailor-made for strokeplay.

However, De Villiers after getting out on a duck in the previous match looked ardent to contribute. ‘Mr.360’ didn’t spare any bowler of KKR as he executed 6 huge sixes that landed on the busy main road outside the small Sharjah stadium.

It was quite a view when one of his sixes incidentally even hit a car that was crossing the road. The Royal Challengers Bangalore legend nailed the six that went many a mile and made a mockery of the boundary rope at the stadium.

Even his former South African teammate Kagiso Rabada took to Twitter and reacted hilariously after his batting masterclass. The leading wicket-taker currently in IPL 2020 tagged De Villiers on Twitter and wrote, @ABde Villiers you hitting cars now?!”.

Meanwhile on the back of his sensational knock RCB cruised to victory by 82 runs against KKR. De Villiers remained unbeaten in the end and score 73 from mere 33 deliveries and played a knock for the ages.

After the win, even RCB skipper Virat Kohli acknowledged the magical batting display of his good friend De Villiers. Kohli had no hesitation in admitting that barring one super-human (De Villiers) everyone else struggled on the slow pitch.

Furthermore, without any surprises, De Villiers was also chosen as the man of the match. The batting maestro in the post-match presentation revealed that he came out to bat with a positive mindset and wasn’t satisfied with RCB scoring a par score and wanted to take them near 200.
