The defending champions Mumbai Indians have so far looked ruthless in IPL 2020. The Rohit Sharma led side have only lost 2 matches out of 7. Recently popular commentator Aakash Chopra was all praise for a MI batsman who has proven to be a game-changer this season.

Chopra also made a bold statement and predicted that this batsman will also wear the Indian jersey after the conclusion of the IPL. The batsman that Aakash Chopra is speaking highly about is none other than Suryakumar Yadav.

The former India cricketer pointed out Suryakumar Yadav has so far seemed a cut above the rest. Aakash Chopra is impressed with the range of shots that elegant batsman has displayed with ease against world-class bowlers.

“I feel Suryakumar Yadav was the game-changer in the match between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. The manner in which he is batting, whether you see his shots over the covers or his flicks or his cut shots,” Aakash Chopra said 0n his official YouTube channel.

“The icing on the cake with a cherry on top was the flick he played of Rabada’s bowling for a six. My jaw dropped after watching that six. I said that this player should play for India. I am saying that before the end of 2020, he will be a part of the Indian team and I feel he will also play matches for the Indian team. This is a voice that is coming from my heart for this player and hopefully, that happens,” Aakash Chopra added.

Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav thus far has amassed 233 runs in 7 matches at an average of 38.83. More importantly his strike rate this season has been 155.33 and because of this, he has taken the game away from oppositions in IPL 2020. The 30-year-old will be next seen in action Kolkata Knight Riders at Abu Dhabi on October 16 (Friday).
