The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is off to a flier in the UAE. Match 3 of IPL 2020 will see Royal Challengers Bangalore lock horns with the Sunrisers Hyderabad on September 21 (Monday). We bring you the match prediction of match 3 of IPL 2020 between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The encounter will see some of the legends of the shortest format of the game go up against each other. Sunrisers Hyderabad, who last won the title in 2016, will be keen to put their winning boots on. They have a balanced squad with quality spinners in the ranks, who can make the difference.

David Warner, who came from the UK after the England series, will be keen to pull the fifth gear and lead the side from the front. Rashid Khan will also be important to keep the star-studded Royal Challengers Bangalore silent. Bhuvaneswar Kumar, who is returning to action after a long time, will also look to set the records right from the start.

Speaking about Royal Challengers Bangalore, they have an exciting line-up. The top-order packed by Aaron Finch, Devdutt Paddikal, Virat Kohli, and AB de Villiers is certainly the best in the tournament. However, they lack firepower in the lower middle-order which can cause problems for Bangalore.

The side led by Kohli have acquired some bowlers to solve their perennial problem but it doesn’t look like a strong one. Veteran pacer Dale Steyn will lead the pace unit while Yuzvendra Chahal will the spinner to watch out for. Recently, former India skipper Sunil Gavaskar picked Chahal as the match-winner for Bangalore.

Date and Venue: IPL 2020: Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad on September 21 (Monday), at Dubai International Stadium.

Pitch Conditions

The first match in this very ground saw both teams score above 150. However, the pace has varied making the life of the batters difficult. The pacers will get assistance with the new ball and there has been a significant bounce on the wicket.

The team winning the toss will look to bowl first considering the dew factor that comes into play in the latter half of the game.
