MS Dhoni is playing his 200th IPL game with Chennai Super Kings playing against Rajasthan Royals at the moment in Abu Dhabi. CSK are under the pump this season having lost six of their first nine games in the league stage. A playoff qualification looks a bit distant for the team in yellow, but not impossible.

Meanwhile, former Indian spinner Pragyan Ojha spoke about brand MS Dhoni when he spoke to Sports Today, recently. Ojha is one of those cricketers who played under Dhoni’s leadership and made a name for himself in international cricket.

Talking to Sports Today, a branch of India Today Group, Pragyan Ojha said that a number of young Indian cricketers talking to him after matches against CSK prove how big a brand he is in Indian cricket. Youngsters trying to pick his brain every game tells how much he knows about the game with his experience.

“For me, brand Dhoni is… once the game is over, look at the youngsters coming and standing next to Dhoni and talking to him. See, that is for me is what makes MS Dhoni different from others. A minimum of 5-6 youngsters going and picking his brains. That nobody can replace. That’s one of the reasons I adore him,” said Pragyan Ojha while speaking to Sports Today.

Playing their tenth game of the season at the moment against RR, Chennai Super Kings needs to win all their remaining games, including this one to give themselves the best chance of making it to the playoffs.

In case CSK doesn’t make the playoffs, this will be the first season when other teams will not have to face MS Dhoni and his men in IPL’s final four. CSK has just three wins this season so far, having lost as many as six games.

CSK lost to RR, the first time both these teams played in this season in Sharjah, in a high-scoring encounter.
