Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal starred as Royal Challengers Bangalore overcame the Kolkata Knight Riders hurdle last night in Sharjah. Chahal has been drawing praise for his superb spell in a batting paradise including from former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh.

Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal’s figures read one for 12 in his four overs where bowlers have generally shelled runs overs 8 runs per over. He along with Washington Sundar were sharp in the middle-overs to take the game away from Kolkata.

Their combined figures were 8 overs, 32 runs and 3 wickets. That’s a stunning effort when you consider the size of the boundaries here along with the pacers as Royal Challengers Bangalore scripted 82-run win. As a result, they go past Kolkata Knight Riders to sit in the third spot with eight points.

Following a thrilling win, Yuzvendra Chahal took to microblogging site Twitter to laud the combined effort the team members. Bangalore have come good as a team in IPL 2020 and will hope to keep up the excellent run.

“No one can whistle a symphony. It takes a whole orchestra to play it. Great team effort tonight,” Yuzvendra Chahal wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the post garnered a lot of reactions including one from Yuzvendra Chahal. The former all-rounder teased while praising the leg-spinner.

“Tu kisi ko nahi marne de raha ! Lagta hai maidan par vapas aana padega! Great spell Yuzi top class,” Yuvraj Singh wrote in reply.
