Explosive England openers Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy are part of the SRH squad and they both will be unavailable for the IPL 2021. The team will miss the impactful opening pair of Warner-Bairstow as they have been one of the most, if not the most successful opening duo in the past few seasons. They have scored more than half of the team runs while batting together.
Devon Conway can play at no.4 and can open the innings just like Bairstow so can be a great replacement for him. He can provide great flexibility to the team considering his wicket-keeping skills. Although SRH has a great experienced wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha, the presence of an extra wicketkeeper in the playing XI will provide extra cushion to SRH.

The Australian David Warner opening the innings with New Zealand’s Devon Conway would be exceptionally good. They can break the chain of Right-Left and can create a great Left-Left opening pair.
