The Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise is gearing up for the second phase of the Indian Premier League 2021 season. They will leave for the UAE on August 29, as the tournament is all set to resume on September 19.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore have several new additions to their squad as few players pulled out of the tournament. Sri Lankan stars Wanindu Hasaranga and Dushmantha will replace the Australian duo of Adam Zampa and Daniel Sams in the RCB squad. They have also brought in Tim David and George Garton for the second phase of IPL 2021.

Royal Challengers Bangalore eying their first IPL title this season
The Royal Challengers Bangalore had a good run in the first phase of Indian Premier League 2021. They will resume their campaign playing against the Kolkata Knight Riders on September 20 at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi. In the previous encounter between these two teams, the Royal Challengers Bangalore emerged as winners. Batting first, they put on 204 runs on the board and restrict the Kolkata Knight Riders for 166 runs.
The Virat Kohli-led team is third on the points table at the moment, below the Delhi Capitals and the Chennai Super Kings. They have won five out of the seven matches played and have a Net Run Rate of -0.171. RCB will be keen to win their first-ever IPL title this season.
