Perhaps during the 2016 home series against England, Kedar Jadhav was being touted as India’s new age finisher after MS Dhoni but after a poor, 2019 World Cup for India and even poorer 2020 IPL season for Chennai Super Kings where Jadhav could only fetch 62 runs in 8 matches led to Chennai Super Kings releasing Kedar Jadhav ahead of the 2021 IPL auction.
