Ravindra Jadeja’s One Man Show Takes Down RCB

Earlier in the game, Ravindra Jadeja’s 28 ball 62 triggered CSK to 191/4. Jadeja took 37 from Harshal Patel’s 20th over to help the side get over 190. Earlier in the game Faf Du Plessis (50) and Ruturaj Gaikwad added 74 for the first wicket to give CSK a good start. Jadeja’s innings was just the perfect icing on the cake. He also became the first CSK player and 10th player overall to score 50+ runs and take three or more wickets in an innings in IPL. Jadeja was also chosen as the Man of the Match for his match-winning contribution.

This is the first time in the first two weeks of the IPL that RCB has been dethroned from the pole position of the IPL 2021 poinn table. RCB now move onto Ahmedabad for the next few games of their IPL 2021 campaign. They face Delhi Capitals next. CSK, o the other end, play their next four games in Delhi.
