IPL 2021: Match 19 – CSK vs RCB – Match Prediction
MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli

It’s that time of the year when Royal Challengers Bangalore play Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 25 (Sunday). Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni will go up against each other and the fans are excited to see two modern-day legends go up against each other and we bring the match prediction from the game.

Royal Challengers Bangalore have found a fix for a long-standing issue. They may have denied Chennai Super Kings their first-choice spin-allrounder Glenn Maxwell with a bid of INR 14.25 Cr, but the man behind sorting out RCB’s death bowling woes has been the traded-in Harshal Patel. Not having to bowl at the unforgiving Chinnaswamy has made a big difference, but Harshal’s wicket-taking knack has put them at the top of the bowling charts in the death overs.

On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings have returned to their own. Moeen Ali has helped solve one of their biggest bugbears of IPL 2020. Last season, CSK were guilty of allowing games to drift away from them in the middle, in their flawed quest to take it deep, thereby finishing with the second-worst run rate (7.40) in this period. Moeen has injected much-needed urgency to that top-order, taking CSK’s middle-overs run rate to 9.56 this year – the best so far.

Match Prediction – Who will win the match?

Whenever Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore have locked horns in the illustrious league, it has been no short of a thrilling experience. Sunday’s match is expected to be no different. However, Chennai hold the edge winning 15 of the 26 encounters since the start of IPL in 2008.

It will be a 50-50 going into the clash with both teams finding their rhythm. But going by the match-winners Bangalore possesses in their line-up, Virat Kohli & Co will have a slight advantage over their MS Dhoni and his boys.
