Mumbai Indians beat Rajasthan Royals in match 24 of IPL 2021 by 7 wickets to win their third game of the season. In the process, they maintain their position at the top half of the points table while the Royals endured their fourth loss of the season. They are placed seventh on the points table. Quinton De Kock anchored Mumbai’s chase as they tracked down the score with nine balls to spare. De Kock scored an unbeaten 70 as the other Mumbai batters batted around him. Rohit Sharma was out for just 14 as Suryakumar after a promising start fell on 16. Krunal Pandya’s cameo (39 off 26) brought Mumbai back into the game as he added 63 and pretty much settled the score in Mumbai’s favour.

Quinton De Kock Gives Mumbai Indians Their 3rd Win
The pitch in Delhi was a better one for batting in the second half of the game. The Rajasthan bowling lineup without the likes of Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes looked a weak attack as compared to Mumbai’s batting depth.
Earlier in the game, Mumbai Indians won the toss and opted to field first. The opening pair of Jos Buttler (41) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (32) added 66 for the first wicket. Sanju Samson‘s 42 and Shivam Dube’s 35 took them to 171/7. The Royals did not use the power of Chris Morris with the bat. However, Morris took two wickets with the ball.
Rahul Chahar picked two wickets with the ball and the death overs was taken care of by Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult who took two wickets together giving away close to 50 runs.
After this win, Mumbai have three more games in Delhi. While the Royals have three more games to go as well.
