Punjab Kings will face the Royal Challengers Bangalore in match number 26 of IPL 2021. This match is set to take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. While RCB will look to continue their superb form, Punjab will be hoping that they can make a turn around in this tournament.

Punjab Kings have had a very bumpy season. They defeated the defending champions Mumbai Indians but have lost to the other teams who have not been doing so well. In their last game against KKR, their batsman did not get going. KL Rahul has had a few good innings but his strike rate has been a concern throughout. Chris Gayle just hasn’t fired and Mayank Agarwal does not perform consistently. Their middle order is just not clicking and if they have to win from here the middle order has to do something.

Royal Challengers Bangalore are on a roll at the moment. They are cruising at the moment. One of AB de Villers, Virat Kohli, or Glenn Maxwell is stepping up. Padikkal has looked better than ever. RCB will want their batsman to continue. Rajat Patidar has shown some promise. Royal Challengers will be a happy batting unit going into this game.

RCB bowling looking stronger than ever

Punjab Kings have bowled decently. Their batsmen are not putting enough runs on the board for them to defend. Mohammad Shami has been their strike bowler. Ravi Bishnoi has been outstanding since the time he has been included in the playing 11. Punjab would not want too many changes in their bowling. They just want them to hit the right lines and stop the run flow.

Royal Challengers Bangalore are looking better than ever in their bowling department. They have the purple cap holder Harshal Patel who has taken this tournament by storm. His slower bowlers and reverse swing deliveries have troubled batters throughout. Kylie Jameison has been a revelation for them. He has been their top fast bowler. Yuzi Chahal has not looked in form but we all know what he is capable of doing.
