IPL 2021 Watch: Mohammed Shami Hits Bullseye To Run Out KKR Wicketkeeper Batsman Tim Seifert

KKR are playing Punjab Kings in a crucial contest in match 45 of IPL 2021 in Dubai. The winner of this game will solidify their chances for playoff qualification. Punjab skipper KL Rahul won the toss and opted to bowl first. Tim Seifert is making his debut for KKR in this match. This is also his IPL debut.

KKR scored 165/7 in their 20 overs after a good start from their top-order. Tim Seifert meanwhile, was run out trying to steal a cheeky single. Mohammed Shami bowled a perfect yorker in the 19th over of the KKR innings. He tried to dig out a cheeky shot but failed. In trying to steal a quick single, Seifert fell well short as Shami hit the wickets on the full to send him back. KKR scored 44 runs in the last five overs and lost four wickets.

The KKR top-order once again did a good job. Venkatesh Iyer (67) and Rahul Tripathi (34) added a 72-run stand for the second wicket. Nitish Rana then played a cameo (31 off 18). KKR skipper Eoin Morgan had another poor outing as he scored just 2. Dinesh Karthik who played a good hand in the last game scored only 11 in this game and was out in the final delivery of the KKR innings.

The Punjab bowlers took wickets at the right time. Mohammed Shami and Arshdeep Singh took four wickets between themselves three of which came in the powerplay.
