The much-anticipated match will see Rajasthan Royals taking on Lucknow Super Giants at Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur on 19 April in the IPL 2023. It promises to be exciting between the number 1 and 2nd ranked team in the points table.

Rajasthan Royals has done brilliantly so far in the tournament with 4 wins and top of the table with 8 points. Lucknow Super Giants lost their previous match against Punjab Kings in a thrilling encounter at Lucknow.

Both teams have top-quality batters that can change the course of the game and put opponent bowlers under pressure.

Here we look at the 3 Players who will score the most runs between LSG and RR.

  1. Jos Buttler

Jos Buttler was dismissed for a rare duck against Gujarat Titans. He has been in sublime form so far with 204 runs from 5 matches at an average of 40.80 and a strike rate of 163.20 with 3 half-centuries to his name.

Buttler would be hoping to showcase his attacking skills against Lucknow Super Giants on a good batting pitch at Jaipur and not allow the LSG bowlers to settle right from the word go. His performance at the top of the order will help Rajasthan Royals set a strong base for settling a big total or chasing down a target.

  1. Shimron Hetmyer

The West Indies hard-hitting batter produce a match-winning knock against Gujarat Titans. He came at the crease with RR looking down and out before Hetymer hit an unbeaten 56 off 26 deliveries with 2 fours and five sixes.

Hetmyer will play a crucial role for Rajasthan Royals in today’s encounter also against Lucknow Super Giants to provide the finishing touches.

  1. Nicholas Pooran

Nicholas Pooran has been the backbone of the Lucknow Super Giants’ batting lineup. He looked in brilliant touch so far for LSG and played some breathtaking knocks including 62 off 19 deliveries against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

He has the record for the fastest half-century this season against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Pooran could not contribute much as he was dismissed without opening his account against Punjab Kings.

Lucknow Super Giants fans would be hoping that Pooran can produce another brilliant knock against a strong Rajasthan Royals bowling attack.
