IPL 2023: Ben Stoked And Harsh Bhogle Argued About The Run-Out At RCB vs LSG Match

After the RCB vs. LSG match, Harsh Bhogle and Ben Stokes argue about the run-out at the non-striker’s end in the IPL 2023.

Ravi Bishnoi was miles ahead of his crease when pacer Harshal Patel attempted to run him out in the final over of the game between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

When the spinner left the crease early, Bishnoi would have given out and the match would have been decided in the Super Over if Patel had followed the rules during his attempt.

Harsha Bhogle silenced the critics who oppose the non-strikers by bringing attention to the incident on his Twitter account.

Many current and former English and Australian cricketers have previously argued that it goes against the “Spirit of the Game,” but Harsha poked fun at them this time by saying that only a fool would oppose the idea.

“Bishnoi was stepping away from his crease early. Bhogle asked whether there are any idiots who still believed that the non-striker should not be run out.”

While this was going on, England Test captain Ben Stokes quickly responded and proposed a rule change that would penalize the batting team by six runs if the non-striker left his crease too soon.

According to Stokes, this would put an end to all of the controversies and put an end to unfair advantage.

Later, Harsha Bhogle said he was glad to hear Stokes’ viewpoint. As Stokes is out of commission, the cricket expert also wished him a speedy recovery.

As a result, Bangalore was defeated by Lucknow by one wicket. Furthermore, it was their third triumph of the IPL 2023 campaign.

Despite this, the management of the team will be concerned about KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda’s performance before their upcoming match against Punjab Kings.
