Mumbai Indians are yet to open their winning account this season. All the fans expected to see the dangerous duo of Jofra Archer and Jasprit Bumrah, but Bumrah was ruled out of the IPL 2023. Today Mumbai Indians face Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley stadium.

Suryakumar Yadav is having a poor run for quite some time now, the dynamic batsman is going through a lean patch. He was not able to score a single run in the ODI series against Australia. Amidst this Ravi Shastri has some advice for Suryakumar Yadav. This advice can prove to be an effective one from the former India head coach.

Ravi Shastri’s advice to Suryakumar Yadav

“There’s going to be light at the end of the tunnel, he’s going to be seeing that very soon. And when he sees that, he’s going to grab it and make the most of it. So the advice to him would be just give yourself a little bit of time early on, even though it’s T20 cricket. SuryaKumar Yadav is currently the world’s number 1 T20I batsman. IPL 2023 can also decide his spot in the ODI World Cup later this year,” he said.

The Secret is...': AB de Villiers' Guru Mantra to Struggling Suryakumar Yadav

He just needs to spend some time out there in the middle instead of going from ball one. Suryakumar Yadav has proved his worth in the T20I format, although his performance in ODIs is still questionable.

SKY is known for his innovative shots, he is often compared with ABD Villiers because of his 360° shots all around the ground. Suryakumar Yadav will surely come back to form once he gets that confidence back.

His range of shots and ability to find gaps is fantastic. He plays according to the field. Suryakumar Yadav ended 2022 scoring most runs in the T20I format. He scored 1,164 runs in 31 innings at a strike rate of 187.43.
