In the final group match of the IPL 2023 against SRH, Mumbai Indians’ Cameron Green had a sensational innings.

In the Sunday 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Cameron Green delivered a standout performance for the Mumbai Indians.

In the crucial match, the 23-year-old all-rounder played a sensational knock with the willow, smashing 100 off just 47 balls and scoring the winning runs as well.

 

The team’s success this season thus far has largely been due to Green



Green had played in 13 games, scored 281 runs with an average of 40.14, and had two half-centuries prior to this knock. He has now scored more than 350 runs in the competition.

Green continues to demonstrate his ability to score runs quickly and fluidly with his outstanding batting.

He scored a brilliant knock at Wankhede, hitting eight fours and eight sixes with a strike rate over 200.

As the third batter to bat, Green attacked the SRH bowlers who were on their toes after getting Ishan Kishan early. In the space of just 20 balls, he had reached his fifty and was hammering the opposition.

At the crucial IPL 2023 match on Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai Indians defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight runs thanks to match-winning runs from Cameron Green and Akash Madhwal.

In contrast to Rajasthan Royals, who were also in the running for the playoffs, the victory has kept Mumbai in the running. Returning to the match, Mumbai finished the 201 chases with two overs remaining after Green hit an unbeaten century in just 47 deliveries.

Akash Madhwal, who led Mumbai’s comeback and took four wickets to hold Sunrisers Hyderabad to 200/5, had earlier held Sunrisers Hyderabad at bay.

Vivrant Sharma and Mayank Agarwal, the new opening pair, added 140 runs for the first wicket as SRH, who had been invited to bat first, put on a strong performance. Vivrant scored 69 (47), while Mayank smashed 83 (46 balls), and both batters were dismissed by Madhwal.
