After losing to the Gujarat Titans, the Knight Riders, under the leadership of Nitish Rana, defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Punjab Kings. RR, meanwhile, has dropped three straight games.

1. Varun Chakravarthy vs Jos Buttler

In the IPL 2023, the KKR spinners have been particularly strong. The opposition has struggled with the Sunil Narine, Varun Chakravarthy, and Suyash Sharma trio.

It will be interesting to see whether KKR introduces enigma spinner Chakravarthy in front of the risky Jos Buttler.

The Knight Riders can use a similar strategy to get the better of RR captain Sanju Samson. Spinner Narine has previously bothered the right-handed batter.

In 78 balls during the IPL, Narine has three times dismissed Samson. In this regard, it is noteworthy that Samson has only scored 64 runs off Narine. Three fours and a single six are included in the total.

3. Yashasvi Jaiswal vs the pacers from KKR

The IPL 2023’s second-highest run-scorer right now is youngster Yashasvi Jaiswal. The RR’s opening batsman currently has a strike rate of 160.61 and has 477 runs from 11 games.

Having made the most of the Powerplay, Jaiswal has struck out 166 times against pacers in the current season. How he approaches individuals like Vaibhav Arora and Shardul Thakur is yet to be seen.

4. Yuzvendra Chahal vs Andre Russell

The best will be saved for Andre Russell, who scored the game-winning 42 off just 23 balls against Punjab Kings. Yuzvendra Chahal could be utilized by RR against Russell because of his propensity to falter against spinners.

Notably, Chahal has only ejected Russell once in the IPL. With 80 runs off of 37 balls, the latter has scored at 216.21 against the leg-spinner.
