However, Rinku expressed that he isn’t thinking about the call-up.

“It feels good to have a season like this. I’m not thinking too much about the Indian team selection. Now when I head home, I will go back to my routine practice and gym. I will just keep doing my work,” said Rinku Singh at the post-match press conference.

Feels good to get a lot of respect and recognition: Rinku Singh

Kolkata Knight Riders’ batter Rinku Singh played several brilliant knocks in the 2023 Indian Premier League season. However, his five sixes in the final over against Gujarat Titans was one of the finest knocks that powered his side to a win. The power-hitter expressed that since his knock, he has gotten a lot of respect, and recognition. Rinku Singh said,

“My family is very happy. People used to know me before. The last few knocks I played, people started to know about me. But ever since I hit those five sixes in the game against GT, I’ve started to get a lot more respect and many more have started to recognize me. So it feels good,”
