Jos Buttler did not bat at his normal top order during the match against Punjab Kings. He came at number 3 and was dismissed cheaply by Nathan Ellis. Rajasthan Royals would be hoping that Buttler would be fit enough for the match against Delhi Capitals on 8 April 2023 to be played at Basapara Stadium, Guwahati.
Jos Buttler performed brilliantly in the opening match scoring a quickfire 54 off 22 deliveries laying a strong foundation for a big total. He took a lovely catch to dismiss Prabhsimran Singh and suffered a minor injury. Trent Boult took 2 wickets of Abhishek Sharma and Rahul Tripathi in the first over to put the Sunrisers Hyderabad team in big trouble.

It promises to be an exciting encounter against Delhi Capitals tomorrow. Delhi Capitals lost the first two matches against Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans.
Devdutt Paddikal struggled badly in the match against Punjab Kings with 21 runs off 26 deliveries making life tough. Rajasthan Royals would hope to produce a brilliant performance against the struggling Delhi Capitals side which promises to be another high-scoring affair.
