MI erupted into a maniacal celebration following the game, during which Zaheer Khan’s interview was interrupted and he was led into their parade of joy. In the midst of MI’s exuberant celebrations Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan hijack Zaheer Khan’s interview.
The Mumbai Indians completed a victory lap around the Wankhede Stadium following their six-wicket victory at home. Which was their second straight victory in IPL 2023 as did all of the players, coaches and team owners. While observing the applause from the supporters as they waved to the crowd.

Both Parthiv Patel, a former player for the team and former India cricketer Zaheer were on the sidelines discussing Mumbai’s victory over KKR with Jio Cinema. Zaheer had previously served as a member of the MI coaching staff.
Rohit and Ishan entered the room as the MI players approached from behind and hijacked the interview and dragged Zaheer into the celebrations. Parthiv was overly amused as the presenter stood there laughing uncontrollably and spoke only to the camera. But a minute later they both came together.
The Mumbai Indians’ victory had some benefits for them. Suryakumar Yadav had led MI on Sunday in Rohit’s absence was the most notable. He returned to form with an impressive knock of 43 off 25 and ahead in the 186-point pursuit, Ishan had created the ideal foundation with his 25-ball 58.
We talked in the dugout before the game, and the boys put on a show. We just needed to maintain our momentum from the previous contest. I’m happy with how things turned out even though I would have loved to win the game.
”I thought the wicket was a little dry in the afternoon, but the way the players batted in the evening caused it to moisten up. Ishan gave us a great start at Wankhede, where 180-190 is quite changeable,” Suryakumar Yadav said following the victory.
