Piyush Chawla: The seasoned leg-spinner leads his team in wickets taken and ranks joint-second in IPL 2022 overall. He played against GT for the first time this season and took two wickets for 34 runs.
Hardik Pandya and Vijay Shankar’s wickets were taken by him. He has so far taken 17 wickets at an average of 18.88 in 11 games. The Australian pacer’s previous game against Gujarat saw him concede 37 runs in four overs while also dismissing David Miller.
He has taken the second-most wickets for MI this season. In seven games, he has taken 11 wickets for an average of 21.36. He has participated in 126 T20 games overall, taking 149 wickets at an average of 22.20.
Mohammed Shami: He is currently tied for the most wickets in the IPL 2023. He plays for both India and Gujarat. At a 16-point 36 average, he has taken 19 wickets in 11 games. In his previous match against MI, Shami was incredibly frugal, only giving up 18 runs in four overs, but he failed to claim any wickets. He’s played 12 matches against Mumbai overall, taking 12 wickets at an average of 30.33 and an economy rate of 8.08.
Rashid Khan: The IPL 2023’s top leg-spinner is tied for third place with Mohammed Shami and Tushar Deshpande with 19 wickets. He is carrying an 8-point09 economy rate while averaging 18-point 73 with the ball. He scored 27 runs on two wickets in his most recent match against Mumbai. In 12 matches against Mumbai, he has taken 14 wickets at an average of 20 and a 5.83 economy rate.
