Prior to this game, he had scored 6988 runs in 233 games, making him the IPL’s all-time leading run-scorer. Kohli has also amassed five centuries and 49 fifties in his IPL career.
He broke the IPL record for most runs scored by a batter in 2021 when he scored 6000. And he did it again in 2019 when he passed Suresh Raina to score 5000.
