The Gujarat Titans are having a great run in the 2023 Indian Premier League so far. Defending the title this season, they are at the top of the points table, with fourteen points from ten matches. Opener Shubman Gill has lauded the team’s management for bringing the best out of the players in the team.
In a conversation with the Times of India, Shubman Gill expressed that the management is clear in its interactions with the players, which has been a great plus for the team. The clarity has been rewarded with players stepping up to their responsibilities for the Titans. Shubman Gill said,
“I think the interactions have always been honest and straightforward. I think that is the best thing about our team. There are no talks behind the backs or middlemen.”

This is the time to be ruthless: Shubman Gill
Shubman Gill believes that the Gujarat Titans need to be ruthless and continue their great run in the 2023 Indian Premier League. He expressed that they should not be complacent, and work towards retaining their spot. He added that the defending champions should hopefully end the season at the top. Shubman Gill said,
“I think this is the time to be ruthless and nail it and be so far ahead in the competition that it will be difficult for the other teams to try to reach us. We are definitely eyeing to be in the top two and hopefully, we will continue to be at the top of the table.”
The Gujarat Titans secured their seventh win of the 2023 Indian Premier League 2023 season, against the Rajasthan Royals. They won the match comfortably by nine wickets chasing 119 runs. The Hardik Pandya-led team will take on Lucknow Super Giants on Sunday, May 7 in Ahmedabad.
