IPL 2023: Virender Sehwag Picks Top-5 IPL 2023 Batters

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is down to its final game. The 10 franchises engaged in fierce competition over the past two months, with some performing better than others.

Several outstanding batting performances occurred during the tournament. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Prabhsimran Singh became the first uncapped batters to score a century in a single league season.

Virat Kohli, a star for India, and Shubman Gill each scored two and three centuries. Following such an outstanding performance, Virender Sehwag chose the “top-five batters” in his opinion for Gujarat Titans’ Qualifier 2 match against Mumbai Indians.

Five Pandavas, merely. Pandav of cricket. Five IPL batters that I think are the best. Since they get a lot of opportunities, I have not chosen many openers.

I immediately think of Rinku Singh as a batter. You wouldn’t probably inquire as to why, in my opinion. Since a batter has never won a game for the team by hitting five straight sixes, it has never happened.

It has only been completed by Rinku Singh. Shivam Dube is the next middle-order batter. His strike rate is over 160 and he has hit 33 sixes.

Top-5 IPL 2023 Batters Are Chosen By Virender Sehwag. Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli are not on the list

”The past few seasons have not been particularly noteworthy, but this year he came in with the clear intention of hitting sixes”, according to Virender Sehwag on Cricbuzz.

“A fantastic opening is the third. His exceptional batting has compelled me to select him, so I must take his name. Yashvi Jaiswal. Next up is SKY. Because he wasn’t in form, I’m using Suryakumar Yadav’s name. He was scoring zeroes in international cricket”.

”He initially struggled in the IPL as well, but later started to succeed. There are so many that I can choose anyone by tossing a coin. Heinrich Klaasen will be the batter I choose from the middle of the order”.

”He batted in the middle order for his team (SRH), and he scored the most runs for them. It’s unusual to see a foreign player with his ability to hit against spin and pace”.

Fascinatingly, Sehwag’s list includes two additional uncapped players.
