In the 24th game of the Indian Premier League 2023 (IPL 2023) between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), RCB captain Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell had a strong start after losing two wickets.
The CSK players, however, also displayed some incredible fielding during the game. It was almost outside the line when Maxwell hit a big shot. But Ajinkya Rahane of CSK’s incredible efforts saves the six.
Ajinkya Rahane stunned everyone with a spectacular save during Monday’s Royal Challengers Bangalore-Chennai Super Kings match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in the IPL 2023. Batters had a field day during the match, scoring over 440 runs between the two teams.
The attempt was made with Glenn Maxwell receiving a pitch from Ravindra Jadeja on the ninth over’s final ball. Had CSK’s Rahane not intervened with an overhead attempt, the RCB batter hoisted one over long-off and it would have flown for a six. He appeared to be on the verge of catching the ball, but he lost his balance just in time, flicking it back into the ground. He made five runs of sure-shot saves.
