MS Dhoni has broken numerous records throughout his career, he will set a new record in the championship game.

He will join a select group of batters who have participated in 250 IPL games.

In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 championship game on Sunday at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Chennai Super Kings will face the Gujarat Titans for the championship.

A special message for Dhoni has been sent by his devoted Chennai fans ahead of the game.

Dhoni, a Ranchi boy, has a special connection with the Chennai crowd because he frequently represents CSK there at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

Fans in Chennai yell the loudest cheers for their captain each time he walks out to bat.

Fans paid homage to the former Indian captain in a lovely video that was posted on the IPL’s Twitter account.

“I’ve been working here for the IPL for ten years, and my initial motivation for taking the job was simply to be able to see Dhoni”, a fan remarked.

Dhoni, who has broken numerous records throughout his career, will set a new record in the decisive game. Once he plays 250 IPL games, he will be the league’s only batter.

The Thala has scored 5082 runs in 249 games, averaging 39.09. His strike rate for these runs was 135 points and 96. He has 24 fifties in the competition, and his best innings are 84*.

So, I had specifically asked to be on this job. Dhoni, I believe, will be missed. This is reportedly his final IPL season. I’m not sure if that is accurate.

There is no chance that another captain will ever compare to him, no matter how many captains CSK may have in the future. He frequently shows up in my dreams, a supporter complained.
