IPL 2023: Why Are Rumours Of Conflict Between MS Dhoni And Ravindra Jadeja Doing The Rounds?

There have been rumours floating around for the past few days about a possible conflict between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni and the team’s star all-arounder Ravindra Jadeja.

At the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on May 23, CSK will host the Gujarat Titans (GT) in Qualifier 1 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.

When a video of an animated conversation between Dhoni and Jadeja went viral on social media, there were some claims that things weren’t good between the two senior CSK cricketers.

This occurred following Chennai’s Saturday, May 20, 77-run victory over Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Following CSK’s victory over DC, MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja were seen chatting animatedly

While the victory guaranteed CSK’s spot in the IPL 2023 playoffs, Dhoni and Jadeja were seen talking seriously as they returned to the locker room.

No information about the conversation has yet surfaced, but social media was buzzing again after Jadeja sent a mysterious tweet just one day after CSK’s victory over DC.

Using his legitimate Twitter account, the 34-year-old posted: “Karma will get back at you, sooner or later it surely will.”

He posted it on social media with the hashtag “Definitely” and a thumbs-up emoji. Numerous users believed that Jadeja was indirectly criticizing his CSK captain despite the fact that the post didn’t make any mention of the popular video.

There was more to the tale. Rivaba, the cricketer’s wife, retweeted his post and offered some advice, which read:

“Follow your own Path.”

She included an emoji of folded hands in the caption. Rivaba’s post sparked more discussion as people started to wonder if Jadeja had been injured seriously.
