Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya shares a special bond with Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He has always looked up to the former Indian cricketer. The all-rounder revealed that he has great admiration for the Chennai Super Kings captain, and added that only a devil can hate the wicket-keeper batter.
Hardik Pandya made his Team India debut under Mahendra Singh Dhoni in 2016. He has always been very open about the bond he shares with the former Indian cricketer. In a video shared by the Gujarat Titans, Hardik Pandya expressed that Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a like a brother and a dear friend to him. He said,
“A lot of people think Mahi is serious and all that. For me, I crack jokes and I don’t see him as Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Obviously, I have learned a lot of things from him, a lot of positive things, which I have learned from just watching, not even much talking. But for me, he is just my dear friend, dear brother, with who I do pranks, with who I chill and I will always be a Mahendra Singh Dhoni fan and for so many fans and so many cricket lovers, you need to be the proper devil to hate MS Dhoni.”

Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat Titans face Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings In QF 1
The Gujarat Titans will take on the Chennai Super Kings in Qualifier 1 of the 2023 Indian Premier League. The match will take place on Tuesday, May 23 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk. They finished at the top of the table with 18 points, while Super Kings finished second with 17. The winner of Qualifier 1 will head into the final of the 2023 Indian Premier League. Meanwhile, the loser will get a second chance, and play Qualifier 2 against the winner of the Eliminator.
