The pitch offered consistent spin throughout the innings. Axar Patel bowled extremely well giving just 13 runs off 3 overs and taking 2 vital wickets.
Mandeep Singh and Rinku Singh were dismissed by Axar. These dismissals did not please former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh. The partnership between Mandeep and Rinku could’ve avoided the batting collapse. Rinku Singh got out while playing a sweep and Mandeep was bowled.

Delhi Capitals struggled to chase 128, and Axar and Lalit held their nerves to finish the game for Delhi. Warner is top-scored for Delhi Capitals. The Captain scored 57 off 41 deliveries to help DC clinch the first win of the season.
