Here we look at the 3 milestones that could be reached in IPL match 29 between CSK and MI:

Former CSK captain MS Dhoni is on the verge of 5000 runs club for Chennai Super Kings ahead of his record 250th match. Under his captaincy, CSK won a total of 5 titles.

MS Dhoni batted brilliantly against Delhi Capitals remaining not out on 37. He has made so far 39 runs in chances he got to bat this season. He has played a record 249 matches for CSK with 4996 runs. Dhoni is just four runs away from reaching the amazing milestone.

  1. Rohit Sharma could become the highest run-getter between CSK and MI

Rohit Sharma has given flying start for Mumbai Indians in this year’s edition. His batting in the first six overs put pressure on opponent bowlers and made sure that MI posted big totals. Rohit scored so far 156 runs from 5 matches with the best score of 49 against Delhi Capitals.

Suresh Raina is currently the leading run-getter in CSK vs MI clashes. He made a total of 736 runs so far. Rohit Sharma has scored so far 732 runs in 28 innings with the best score of 87.

Rohit would be hoping to provide another positive start against CSK today and keep the momentum going for MI in the first six overs.

  1. Suryakumar Yadav could reach 300 T20 sixes.

Suryakumar Yadav showed his class by smashing 52 off 19 deliveries against Royal Challengers Bengaluru which allowed MI to chase down the target of 197 in 15.3 overs.

During his innings of 52, Suryakumar Yadav smashed 4 sixes with some lovely shots which put pressure on RCB bowlers. He is currently 298 sixes in the shortest format.

Suryakumar Yadav could join the likes of Rohit Sharma (497), Virat Kohli (383), MS Dhoni (328) and Suresh Raina (325) to hit 300 sixes in the shortest format. Suryakumar Yadav will be eager to join the elite list and hope for a great innings against CSK in today’s encounter.
