Shikhar Dhawan led from the front with a well-made 70 against Lucknow Super Giants but could not take Punjab Kings to the winning line. On the other hand, Mohit Sharma was superb with his bowling against SRH picking 3 wickets that stalled the progress.
Mohit Sharma dismissed Shikhar Dhawan thrice in nine innings. Dhawan would be looking to continue his impressive form while Mohit also would look for another superb performance for Gujarat Titans by picking wickets and not allowing Punjab Kings to register victory.
- Liam Livingstone vs Rashid Khan
Rashid Khan took the important wicket of Heinrich Klassen in the previous match, dented their batting, and helped GT restrict the opponent to a modest total. On the other hand, Liam Livingstone struggled with his injury issues but looked impressive with his hitting abilities.
Livingstone would look to hit big shots against Rashid Khan in the middle overs which might decide the fate of the game. Both players would be looking to showcase their skills and help their team register victories.
