The Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals are all set to kick off their campaign in the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) on Sunday, March 24 at their home ground, Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur against the Lucknow Super Giants. KL Rahul and co. are also geared up for the upcoming clash.

The Lucknow Super Giants have managed to qualify for the playoffs in both seasons since their debut. However, they have failed to go past the knockout hurdle. In 2023, they lost to the Mumbai Indians in the Eliminator. They will be keen to clinch their maiden title this season.

He has 48 wickets in 31 matches, at an economy rate of 7.93, including four four-wicket hauls and a fifer.

600 fours in T20s

KL Rahul has been a prolific run-scorer in the Indian Premier League. He will be hoping to lead the team to their maiden title this season. Ahead of their opening game, the veteran cricketer is nearing 600 fours in T20 cricket. He has scored 598 fours and is just two more away. He has scored 7066 runs at an average of 42.31 in T20s.

150 sixes in IPL

Jos Buttler will be key for the Rajasthan Royals in their 2024 Indian Premier League. Batting at the top of the order, he has to shoulder the responsibility of the unit. The England cricketer will also be looking to complete 150 sixes in the Indian Premier League. He is just one six away from the milestone, becoming the 16th batter to do so in the tournament.
