Both teams have quality players who can change the course of the game with their abilities.

Here we look at the 3 player battles to look out for between Punjab Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad:

  1. Travis Head vs Kagiso Rabada

Travis Head looked in positive touch during the previous match against Chennai Super Kings. He made the batting look easy, not allowing bowlers to settle in the first six overs and made sure that SRH were on course for a comfortable victory.

On the other hand, Kagiso Rabada took important wickets stalled the progress of Gujarat Titans. Rabada will play a key role in dismissing Travis Head in the first six overs. Despite picking 2 wickets, Rabada went for 44 runs in his 4 overs.

This will be the first time that Head and Rabada would face each other in IPL history. It would be an interesting battle which might decide the fate of the match.

  1. Jonny Bairstow vs Pat Cummins

Jonny Bairstow will face Pat Cummins again in IPL history. Bairstow got start against Gujarat Titans but could not convert it into a big score. On the other hand, Cummins bowled brilliantly in the match against Chennai Super Kings using the pitch brilliantly.

Both players met frequently in international cricket. Bairstow has provided attacking starts but not able to convert it into a big score. It will be an interesting battle between Bairstow and Cummins.

Bairstow would be eager to provide quickfire start while Cummins will look to dismiss him and make sure that SRH register victory.

  1. Abhishek Sharma vs Arshdeep Singh

Abhishek Sharma was in sublime form with quickfire knock against Chennai Super Kings. He made use of the batting conditions that made the run chase easy. On the other hand, Arshdeep Singh was decent enough giving away 33 runs in his 4 overs.

Both players know each other as they played for same state. Abhishek Sharma will be eager to continue his aggressive style in the first six overs while Arshdeep Singh would look to pick wickets that would stall the progress of SRH batting.
