Royal Challengers Bangalore has a solid batting unit comprising Faf Du Plessis, Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, Will Jacks, and Cameron Green that can impact with their batting prowess.

Kohli and Faf du Plessis have created a huge impact with superb opening partnerships that helped RCB win matches. Glenn Maxwell showed his batting skills during last year’s edition. The addition of Cameron Green would strengthen their middle order.

Rajat Patidar will be returning to the RCB squad after missing last year’s IPL due to an injury. His ability to play attacking shots makes the batting look composed.

Weakness

Like the last edition, Royal Challengers Bangalore has a weak bowling attack. Mohammed Siraj looked improved bowler picking wickets in the first six overs to put pressure on the opponents. They released Josh Hazlewood, Hasranga, and Harshal Patel.

RCB bought Alazzari Joseph, Lockie Ferguson, and Tom Curran in their bowling attack. Reece Topley looks impressive, but they can leak runs quickly, which could be a major problem for RCB captain du Plessis. Karn Sharma is the only genuine spinner who could go for runs in the middle overs.
