Andre Russell, the star all-around player for the Kolkata Knight Riders, has begun preparing for the IPL 2024 final match at M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Russell goes crazy in a unique video that the team’s official social media account shared, showing off his incredible hitting during net practice.

With all-rounder Sunil Narine wreaking havoc at the top of the order with 482 runs in 13 innings, all of KKR’s players are particularly in good form ahead of the crucial final. Andre Russell, the star all-around player for the Kolkata Knight Riders, goes crazy in a unique video that the team’s official social media account shared, showing off his incredible hitting during net practice.

He sent the ball during KKR’s practice session and blasted several hard-hitting smashes. The recent video featuring the all-rounder serves as a warning to the other side that will advance to the final, cautioning them about what to expect on the evening of the match.

Andre Russell urged that the team should approach the game strategically and avoid becoming too predictable.

“We have to go about it as smartly as possible, taking it one game at a time. I think when the time comes, we’ve been adjusting well as a bowling unit. If the wicket is a bit slow, we can use power cutters but not be too predictable” Andre Russell said while speaking to Star Sports.

To earn a ticket in the final, SRH and RR will play each other in Qualifier 2 on May 24 in Chennai. The winner of the game will face KKR in the summit match at the same location on May 26.
